Where exactly is Limestone Fields located?

Limestone Fields is at 159 LCR 890, Jewett, Texas 75846, on the shore of Lake Limestone in East Central Texas. It is about two hours by car from Austin, Dallas, and Houston, which puts it within a comfortable weekend drive of all three.

What makes Limestone Fields different from other lakefront cabins near Austin?

The property hosts one group at a time. A full buyout gives you exclusive use of all ten cabins, the commons barn with its indoor and outdoor chef’s kitchens, the working farm, and 1,200 feet of private lakefront, with room for up to 26 overnight guests. Individual cabins are also available to book on open dates.

How many cabins are there, and what are they like?

There are ten private cabins in two layouts: seven standard cabins that sleep two, and three cabin suites that sleep up to four. Every cabin has a king bed, a private outdoor cedar soaking tub, lake views, individual heating and cooling, and a keyless smart lock.

Does Limestone Fields have lake access?

Yes. The property has 1,200 feet of private, undeveloped frontage on Lake Limestone. Guests can paddle the kayaks, fish from the bank, or simply sit by the water. Lake Limestone is one of the largest and least developed lakes in Texas and is known for bass and hybrid striper fishing.

Can I host a wedding or private event at Limestone Fields?

Yes. Limestone Fields is set up for full-buyout weddings and private events, including a lakefront ceremony site, a 1,200 square foot barn for the reception, rehearsal dinners, and overnight cabins for the wedding party. Intimate ceremonies of up to 50 guests are the sweet spot, and we host one event at a time.

Are bookings open?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Limestone Fields opened to guests in summer 2026 and individual cabins can be booked online for open dates. For a full-property buyout, wedding, or private event, start with an inquiry and we will put together a proposal.

Question 7

What's the minimum stay?

Accepted Answer

Two nights. Holiday weekends and peak dates may carry a longer minimum, and full-property buyouts are three nights or more. The booking calendar shows the minimum for any dates you pick.

Is there cell service?

Cell service is available but limited depending on your carrier. WiFi is provided in all cabins and the Commons Barn.

What should I bring?

We provide all linens, towels, kitchenware, and basic amenities. Bring your own food and beverages (the nearest grocery store is 20 minutes away), any specific toiletries you prefer, and weather-appropriate clothing. Detailed packing suggestions will be sent upon booking.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Pet-friendly cabins are available with advance notice. Pets must remain off furniture and be crated when unattended. $50 per pet, per stay. Select cabins remain pet-free for guests with allergies.

What's nearby?

Not much, and that's the point. The nearest town (Groesbeck) is 15 minutes away with a small grocery store, gas station, and a few local restaurants. We're intentionally remote.

What if I need to cancel?

Our cancellation policy offers full refunds for cancellations made 14+ days prior to arrival, 50% refunds for 7-14 days prior, and no refunds for cancellations less than 7 days prior to arrival.
